URBAN INTERVENTIONS: BUILT AND UNBUILT WORK BY WOMEN DESIGNERS IN BOSTON

Architecture is a reflection of technical achievements as well as an echo of social priorities and values. Inspired by these concepts, Urban Interventions highlights innovative design approaches pioneered by established and next-generation female design talent in the city. Held at the Boston Society of Architect's gallery, the BSA Space, and curated by Natasha Espada, AIA, Urban Interventions features built and unbuilt projects led by women in the fields of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and urban design. Recent award-winning projects by women practicing in Boston are on view in conjunction with a juried exhibition showcasing work created by some of the city's emerging female designers.
