OFURO

An ofuro is a traditional japanese soaking tub. Typically square and deep, it is used to promote health and relaxation. In order to maximize the space in the renovation of an existing small bathroom, a shower and tub were designed within a glass and limestone enclosure. A skylight over the bathtub floods the ofuro with natural daylight, enhancing one's physical and spiritual health.
