BFIT Groundbreaking
Last week Studio Enee's Susan C. Knight and Tan Tran attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a new state-of-the-art facility for Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT) in Roxbury.
The new three-story, 68,000 SF building will prepare graduates for work, life-long learning, and citizenship. The building utilizes passive design strategies and no fossil fuels, targeting LEED v4 Silver. It is a community-sustaining asset that will positively contribute to transforming the Nubian Square neighborhood for decades to come.
Studio Enee collaborated with Lead Architect Studio G Architects on the design of the new facility.
