Natasha Espada was a presenter and moderator for the panel titled Institutions are renovating, repurposing, and revitalizing buildings for new programming. The panel included Nazneen Cooper from Harvard University and Vivian Loftness from Carnegie Mellon University.
The offices for Boston’s Property and Construction Management are under construction. Painting has been completed and new furniture has been installed. New conference room glass walls will be installed next week.
Natasha Espada was a panelist at the Margarita Muniz Academy’s 3rd Annual Career Day to promote architecture to latino high school students in Boston. Maragarita Muniz Academy is is the first dual language high school and an Innovation School of the Boston Public Schools.

The 2017 Women’s Leadership Summit is a 2-day conference for women in positions of leadership. The Summit focuses on supporting women in leadership by providing a forum to recognize, inform, and champion the work being created by women in architecture. We were honored to be one of 400 women attending the conference this year and we were inspired by the wisdom of Beverly Willis from the Beverly Willis Foundation.
STUDIO ENÉE is working closely with the Boston Planning and Development Agency on an office renovation at the Boston China Trade Building for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
In honor of Sho-Ping Chin, FAIA, there is a new grant opportunity for recipients to attend the 2017 AIA Women’s Leadership Summit. Sho-Ping was a Principal at Payette and in 2009 the founding leader of the inaugural AIA Women's Leadership Summit. Tragically Sho-Ping succumbed to cancer in 2015, but her legacy of women’s leadership continues. The memorial fund established in her name is focused on funding the development of future women leaders in architecture. The fund is offered in partnership with The American Institute of Architects. Natasha Espada from STUDIO ENÉE is serving as one of the jurors for this very important grant.
